Abstract

The intentions of this investigation are to create a new prototype in housing. The project is about designing a communal based urban housing development that is outside of the urban district, yet connect to the city center by alternative methods of transit than automobile, by using either bus or rail. The goal of this project is to create an affordable housing prototype that allows people the opportunity to move out of their parents basements and take the next step towards providing a future for themselves without the handouts from their parental figures.
