Description

This china platter, believed to have been brought in 1636 from England by the Roger Williams family, was presented to Roger Williams Family Association (RWFA) in 1912 by Marie E. Cutter Law. A note in the original inventory of material taken from the Brown home in 1997 indicated this platter was "at the Betsy Williams Cottage." The RWFA thinks this platter, which was taken from a trunk in the Brown home, is the one mentioned above.
