Abstract
We wish to express our sincere thanks to Faith Asper for her additional suggestions to Medicare Cost Report data users in her Research Note on our paper, "An Easier Method to Extract Data From Large Databases: The Medicare Hospital Cost Report Database," by Cutting, Goldberg, & Jervis (2007) that appeared in RESEARCH IN HEALTHCARE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, Volume 11, No. 1, pages 27-34. Our paper and Ms. Asper's valuable comments should help expedite hospital research using the Medicare Cost Report database and other large CMS data files. © 2009, isRHFM, Ltd.
