Abstract
The current trend of globalization, led largely by a rise in technological advances and increased accessibility of communication between countries, is beginning to influence the major social institutions that are present within American society. The traditional systems of the family, economy, education, law and politics, and the religious communities are being forced to implement new strategies and identities based on the adoption of globalization.
