Description
From the Jamestown Historical Society Archive Record: A report by Architect Cady including 12 pages of text and 54 figures that are listed on a separate illustration page. The text includes information on Captain Paine, The House in Retrospect, Analysis of the Original House and Restoration and Rehabilitation and refers to the specific illustrations. Illustrations include Cady's drawings of floor plans and several historical photographs with both interior and exterior views.
Figure 1 shows elevations from the south, east, and north for four different periods: Captain Thomas Paine, 1680 (this date should probably be later), c 1725-1882, Vose enlargement 1882-86, and Collins Restoration 1950.
