Description
The drawing is from "The House of Captain John Paine, Jamestown, R.I" by John Hutchins Cady, F.A.I.A., December 1952, which also includes photographs of the 1951-2 renovation of the house. Cady's drawing shows Cajacet from elevations from south, east and north for four different periods: Captain Thomas Paine, 1680 [this date should probably be later], c. 1725- c, 1882, Vose enlargement 1882-86, and Collins restoration 1950.
