Abstract
Various innovative approaches to increase middle school student's interest in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), were discussed. Models were developed to demonstrate the concepts, and teams were created for flexible curriculum activities, that were tested in classroom and documented for national dissemination. Each team selected different concepts to develop. The paper also discusses project goals, implementation, evaluation and dissemination plans.
