Abstract
With flowing strokes, Nicholas Bezio strives to capture the golden sunlight bathing a North American moose, drawing the viewer’s eye around the composition. And just as much as he entices viewers aesthetically, he uses colored pencils like scientific tools to render with meticulously accurate detail the majestic mammal’s distinctive nose, the shape and prongs of its sinewy horns.
